When is love most potent?

Is it at its first blush, or tenderized by years of experience? Is it deep and complicated, or simple and clean?

For my fiance', I'm his first and last love. For me, he's my second love after many failed attempts at forming decent relationships. Our friends say that we're both smitten silly and disgustingly cute.

My boyfriend, now fiance, proposed me to on Wednesday, Feburary 7th, 2007. And I said yes. ^^

The ring is beautiful--small, slender band of white gold, a tear drop of sapphire and a small diamond in the corner. I catch myself staring at it as it sparkles during inorganic chem lecture.
