There is a certain serenity of the 5 AM solitude. No one's awake, the world slumbers outside, and there is only you.

Only you in this entire universe. All the tiny atoms, molecules, systems that make you up accompany you; yes, they are your sole company and support in a pitch dark morning, the coldest time of the day.

It is then that Dawn arises!

It is the Dawn who comes and lifts that solitude off of your hungry and lonesome shoulders with a light kiss of brightness and glory.  Across the coral sky, Twilight makes her fleeting escape, vivid streaks forming in her haste, tired of her nightly visit. Meanwhile, her child, her begotten with the Sun, the Moon lies in Dawn's arms, asleep and faded, eyes shut tight from festivities.  

The Dawn is young. She has not yet learned of jealousy, nor shall she.

Her innocence will be preserved forever as she rises to take care of her lover with that sweet kiss of light and the beginning of life.
